A serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Debby Aloma, who claimed she got N330,000 instead of N33k as her monthly allowance has caused a stir with new revelation.
She faced backlash and insults after her video went viral on social media platforms, so she decided to respond to critics and trolls.
The corps member boasted about using a body cream that is as expensive as N250,000 adding that N330,000 is not a big sum to her.
Aloma said people were calling her a mumu and a liar as they did not believe that NYSC credited her with such a lump sum.
It may be recalled that two weeks ago, the young lady said she did not know what to do as she was expecting the usual N33k that corpers are entitled to only for her to get an alert of N330k.
She had appealed to social media users for advise on the best step to take because she was confused. The corper wondered if she should visit her bank to lay a complaint or if it will be better to take the matter to her local government.
She said; “Hi guys, please this morning I received N330,000 instead of N33,000 allowance and I don’t know what to do.
I don’t know if I should go to bank and complain or I should go to my local government and complain… I am confused please.”
In a fresh clip, Debby disclosed that she bought her cream N250,000, and asked people to carry out investigation to verify her claim. She felt there was no need for insults and she had no reason to lie the first time. It is however not clear if she has returned the money to the NYSC.
