One day everything will pay off – Fireboy DML

Afrobeats star, Adedamola Adefolahan, known also known by his stage name, Fireboy DML, has revealed his biggest motivation in life.

The ‘Vibration’ hitmaker stated in a post on his microblogging platform, Twitter, (now X) that he believes everything he is doing now will pay off someday.

According to Fireboy DML, the hope that it will all be worth it in the end is what serves as a motivation to keep him going.

The YBNL artiste wrote; “I believe one day everything will pay off and all this sh*t will be worth it. it’s this thought that keeps me going.”

Meanwhile, CorrectNG reported earlier that Fireboy recalled how he left a music show in a sad state because of the crowd’s reaction.

He revealed that he want to perform at an event and the audience did not recognise or give him any attention, so he walked out of the place crying.

The popular artiste disclosed in a recent interview with Billboard News that the incident happened during his days as a struggling artiste.

Fireboy DML acknowledged that every up-and-coming artiste faces challenges and he was not exempt from such experiences despite now being a star.

He said; “Every upcoming artiste always go through a lot of stuff. There was a show I went to perform and nobody even knew I was on stage or spared me a second glance. Everybody was just dancing.

“The DJ was just DJing. I felt invisible and I went back to the car with my friend crying. I told myself never again. I will never ask for something until I feel like I deserve it.”
