Nigerian dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan aka Madrina, has revealed that ace rapper, Olamide Adedeji gifted her the sum of N1 million few months ago.
She made this known via her Instagram story on Friday while recalling how she told a male friend about it and he advised her not to talk about the monetary gift on social media.
According to Morgan, the guy’s reason for not wanting her to post it was because he thought the amount Olamide gave her was too small.
The ‘Don’t Lead Me On’ singer, who thanked Olamide for the largesse, said she had to stop talking to that particular friend because of what he said, adding that his statement almost made her post it online immediately.
Cynthia Morgan wrote; “Told someone olamide sent me a million naira some months ago and the guy said I shouldn’t put it out there because the money is too small. Had to stop talking to that guy cause I No understand.
(although it was never my intention to put it out here) but that statement almost made me post it immediately. 1million naira wey my own tribez man loan me insult me join. Abeg o Olamide thank you.”

A Nigerian man has shared screenshots of a conversation between him and a female friend who made fun of him for sending her N20,000.
The guy known as @OSERE_X on Twitter transferred the N20k to her account as a birthday gift and in the chat told her to use it and spoil her self.
But she repeated what he said in form of a sarcastic question, saying ; Spoil myself with 20k. Lol thanks anyway. She later asked him if the money is only for her birthday cake.
This infuriated Osere to the extent that he chose not to answer the question and instead decided to block the lady’s contact on WhatsApp.
The young man shared the screenshots and captioned; “Maybe I overreacted or Maybe I didn’t… The entitlement some girls have ehnn.. Sent this lady monetary gift.. and this was what i got? Smh….
