Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, has named the player he believes is the most skillful in the Nigerian team at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Nottingham Forest fullback is grouped as one of Nigeria’s finest players at the tournment and has been hailed for his quality on and off the ball.
When reporters whom he thinks deserves the most skill player tag among Super Eagles players he mentioned AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze.
In response to whether he was the most talented in the squad, Aina replied; “I don’t know. I don’t think so”.
When pressed further on who was the most skilful player, Aina added; “Samuel Chukwueze. Yeah, I think it’s Samuel.”
Chukwueze has featured in three of Nigeria’s four games at the AFCON, starting in the wins over Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau.

Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen has said his objective at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, is to help Nigeria win the trophy.
The 25-year-old who’s been one of the standout performers in the tournament vowed to give his all, just after Eagles defeated Cameroon to reach the quarter-finals.
Osimhen said he wants the current Nigerian team to return home with the trophy. He, however, added that the team is not yet playing at their peak.
“I want to win something with this great squad. I want to give Nigeria something that they will remember. I’m giving everything to come home with the [AFCON] trophy.
“I cannot lie, we haven’t played the best of our football yet. I think the whole team has this mentality of winning, we want to win. For me, we are more like a family than just players. So for me, it is important to have this mentality of winning.
“I want to give kudos to my defenders. They have been focused since the start of this competition. We also have a good goalkeeper [Nwabali]. We want to keep this momentum going,” Osimhen told reporters.
