OFFICIAL! Naira Marley’s court trial adjourned

Nigerian musical artist and songwriter, Azeez Fashola popularly known by stage name, Naira Marley have today, Wednesday December 11 2019, had his credit card fraud case adjourned by the Federal High Court in Lagos.

The case was adjourned till Thursday December 12, as Mr Olalejan Ojo (SAN), Naira Marley’s defence counsel was unavailable.

The singer who had earlier been arraigned before the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on 11-count charge bordering on credit card fraud between Nov. 26, 2018 and Dec.11, 2018, as well as May 10, 2019, was granted a bail in the sum of N2 million with two sureties in like sum.
