Nigerian born Odion Ighalo will be out of action for a while in the Chinese Super league for a while.
The Super Eagles player left the pitch at 73 minutes as a result of an ankle injury. Changchun was defeated by Shanghai 3:2 on Saturday.
Ighalo was instantly rushed to the infirmary which was at close proxy to the Development Area Stadium, with the club being scared that the injury was a recurrence of an old injury that transpired in the past.
The initial report suggest that he would be unavailable for a period of four weeks. But the good news is that it would not affect the AFCON qualifier against South Africa in June.
