A Nigerian lady known as Oluremi Martins has revealed that she received consolatory flowers over the the presidential election which her preferred candidate did not win.

She took to her Twitter page and shared a photo of the bouquet of flowers which were sent by her lover.

Oluremi is an Obidient lady – meaning she supported the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi in the just concluded election but the candidate of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu was declared winner.

A lovely note accompanied the flowers sent to the girl and it contained words meant to cheer her up and brighten her mood as much as it would have been had Obi won the election.

Her caring man also expressed sadness that he was not present to celebrate with his baby girl.

The note read; “My love, may these flowers cheer you up much as the cheer you would have had If Obi won and I was by Your Side to Celebrate with Yea I LOVE YOU .”

In other news, a 25-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Folake has shared the conundrum she is in regarding her husband’s ailing mother.

She said her 35-year-old hubby pleaded with her to donate her kidney to his mother because it matches with hers.

But she is worried that she is too young to give up such a vital organ irrespective of who the receiver is to her.

Folake took to social media to seek advice as to whether her reluctance to give up her kidney is a bad choice.

She said; “I am 25 years old. Married to a man of 35years. We have been married for more than 2years with a child. The issue that brought me here is that my mother in law is sick (kidney problem) and it happens that mine matches her.

My husband is begging me to donate one of my kidney to save his mom. He said he loves his mom so much and will not want anything to happen to her. That if love him as I claim, now is time to prove it. I refused.

How can a young girl like me that is just starting life donate a kidney to an old woman of 48years. Even if the person is my mum, she won’t even allow me to donate for her. Now hubby is acting up. Saying if anything happens to her mum, he will never forgive me. Please, am I being wicked?”
