Obafemi Martins completes transfer to Chinese giants, replaces Odion Ighalo at Shanghai Shenhua

Former Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Martins has officially completed his move to rejoin Chinese side, Shanghai Shenhua.

The 35-year-old Nigerian joins the club more than two years since his last competitive match although, the Chinese club did not reveal details of Martins’ contract.

However, Martins replaces compatriot Odion Ighalo who is on loan at Manchester United.

Martins scored 32 goals in 59 matches during his previous spell at the club.
