Nigerian music star Davido, has responded to the allegations leveled against him by former President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick about failing to honour a deal after receiving payment.

He had said that OBO refused to show up at the 19th edition of the Warri Again fest in Delta State, despite being paid an excess of $94,600 (about N72 million).

The sports administrator made this known while addressing the attendees of the event. He said the organisers also booked a private jet for $18,000 to bring the the singer to perform at the event in Warri, Delta State.

Pinnick threatened to teach Davido a lesson, because he was ”becoming too proud” despite not being a bigger artiste than Burna Boy.

Speaking in Pidgin, he said; “We paid Davido $94,600 on the 6th of April. We paid $18,000 for his plane. If im say him be big boy, we go tell am say we Big pass am.

“I’m not joking. So, why he was playing his games back and forth, we decided to hunt to find another artist, Shallipopi.

“You see when people say dem big, I just dey laugh. The biggest artiste in Nigeria today, no be Burna Boy? Burna Boy is half Itsekiri. Burna Boy’s paternal grandmother is Itsekiri. So, he big pass am.

“Anybody fit big pass RMD for acting industry? Anybody fit big pass Ali Baba for comedy? Warri na back to back we get dem. Nobody fit big pass Warri.”

But in a series of terse responses on his official Twitter page, the DMW boss threw a shade at the former boss of the Glass House; NFF headquarters.

In another post, Davido bragged that nobody could stop him from performing anywhere in Nigeria.

Davido wrote; “Throwing stones but u dey live for glass house.”

“Nobody can stop me from performing anywhere in Nigeria… Warri I will see you soon”

He also posted a picture of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, logo with the caption; “Make I no talk.”
