Former Presidential aspirant of the Youth Progressives Party (YPP) Adamu Garba has likened Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu to Boko Haram’s late founder, Mohammed Yusuf.
Garba, who is now in the All Progressives Congress, APC, also said Kanu’s alleged deputy, Simon Ekpa is similar to late Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.
The politician said second-in commands are known to be more violent, hence why he called on people to unite and deplatform Ekpa from social media.
He said; “As Nnamdi Kanu of IPOB is like Mohammed Yusuf of Boko Haram, so is Simon Ekpa of IPOB, who is like Abubakar Shekau of Boko Haram.
“Oftentimes, second-in commands are more violent. We shouldn’t treat this Ekpa guy with levity. As a patriotic duty, we should unite & deplatform Ekpa.”
Meanwhile the Senior Pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, Abuja, Joshua Iginla, recently released his prophetic insights for 2023.
Iginla’s prophecies cut across socio-political issues, and God’s mind regarding IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, forthcoming general elections, among others.
The Prophet stated that Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike would be a major factor to reckon in the presidential and governorship elections.
He said external forces would infiltrate the Wike-led G-5 integrity group and cause a crack.
The prophet warned the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), against being over-confident ahead of the upcoming elections.
He also said Nnamdi Kanu will be released, but added that he needs to pray for his health before and after he regains freedom.
Iginla said: “Wike’s political destiny is not yet over; he will play a major political role in the destiny of this country, the star is on his head somehow. He should watch over his health too and avoid being poisoned. Like I said, Wike is a factor.
“The G5 governors, especially those of them still contesting, should pray well to pull through in their bid to serve this country politically. I am particular about one of them. There will be a crack among the G5. They will fall apart due to external forces.
“The political party this G5 will support will make a difference. We have to pray not to have an unnecessary drag or delay in the announcement of the election result.
“The ruling party should not be over courageous because I see a fight of two lions and a tiger, especially in the gubernatorial elections of some states. There will be a win and gain here and a loss there.
“Nnamdi Kanu will be released, but he has to pray for his health. He has to pray even after his release, indeed the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. He must fight to stay alive and think about his health.”
The clergyman said two high-ranking men of God might lose their lives in 2023 and called for prayers for them.
“I saw two generals of the gospel being taken home this year,” he added.
Pastor Iginla said Peter Obi of the Labour Party, must work hard to ensure his personal safety ahead of the election.
“Peter Obi must work hard on his security as a person before and during the election,” Iginla said.
