Nigerian musician, Ugbekile David Osemeke known professionally as Boy Spyce, has said those criticising his female colleague, Simi, do not realise how talented she is.
Simi has been engaging in a back-and-forth exchange with fans on social media following calls for her to change her style of music because her ‘sound was monotonous’.
In what seemed like a reaction to the criticism, Boy Spyce said he was being inspired by the songstress in writing a song he is working on.
The Mavin Records artiste took to his official Twitter (X) account and further stressed that critics do not know the extent of her talent.
Spyce wrote: “Writing a ballad song right now in my car and jamming Simi’s Simisola album for inspo … Omo y’all don’t realize how talented that woman is!”
