Nigerians are way ahead of South Africans fashion wise – BBTitans’ Jaypee

Big Brother Titans (BBTitans) star, Jesupelumi Fasesin popularly known as Jaypee, has bragged about the fashion sense of Nigerians.

She said her compatriots are way ahead of South Africans in terms of fashion and she came to the conclusion after spending weeks with them in the reality TV show.

Speaking during an interview about her experience in Big Brother’s house, Jaypee recounted some culture shocks while cohabiting with the contestants from South Africa.

The rising actress said it was shocking to see them cook noodles with microwave and she got to discover that they do not like pepper.

Jaypee said; “One of the highlights of my time on the show was learning about South African culture and realising that we (Nigerians) are very different, even though we are on the same continent.

“It was nice to see them (South Africans) in a different light and realise that while they are in touch with their roots, they are way ahead, in terms of exposure. But Nigerians are way ahead of them when it comes to fashion.

“Other culture shocks include the fact that they use microwave to ‘cook’ noodles. They are also fond of dairy products, such as milk and cheese. And, they don’t like pepper.”

The nurse stated that her time in Big Brother’s house was akin to taking a break from her nursing career.

“I would still go back to practising as a nurse, but I don’t think anyone would be aware when I do that. I would like to keep that aspect of my life as private as possible. Participating in the show was just like taking a break from nursing. I went to the house, so I could build a life outside nursing,” she added.

CorrectNG recalls that Jaypee revealed during her stay in the BBTitans house that she was in a relationship with seven men on the outside.

She made this known while introducing herself to the 19 co-housemates on Sunday night, 15th of January 2023.

The young lady explained that she was single in the house, and she promised to flirt with the male contestants. She also said that out of the seven lovers she had, she took two of them seriously because they are her favorites.

She said she learnt how to handle men from her childhood because she grew up in a house with all brothers.

According to Jaypee, she and her six brothers were raised by a single mum, and as such she did not have a good impression of men.

The BBTitans housemate also defended her action by saying she decided to date seven in her personal effort to change the narrative that men are the only people who can have more than one partner.
