Nigerian pilot expresses pride as his driver builds house in village

A popular Nigerian pilot identified as Arinze Odira, has expressed joy that he empowered his driver so immensely that he was able to build a house in the village.

The young man took to his verified Twitter (X) page and stated that he gives himself credit for the employee’s achievement.

According to Captain Arinze, he is happy that the driver would be spending this year’s Christmas with his family in the new house.

He wrote; “Even if I do not achieve anything this year, the realization that my driver is going to spend this Christmas in a house he built in his village is enough achievement for me.

Until you can empower your driver so that he can build a standard house, don’t talk to me. I brag differently.”

Netizens congratulated him for empowering his staff financially, and shared similar stories.

@chibitam_ikechi; Brag my brother, some people have had gatemen who have worked for them for 10 to 20 years and yet they can’t afford yearly rent. Helping your driver achieve this is a big achievement, so you have the right to brag.

@awa_karis; Whoa, this is huge, may God bless you and yours Captain. That your dirver will never think of leaving no matter what, except health challenge, I pray that shouldn’t happen too. Amen 🙏

@Chima_Chymes; What will you call success and my founder said when everybody here is driving nice cars and living their houses. Pure Igbo breed and that was when I knew God had answered my prayers.

@esadoy; Louder please. If you can empower your driver to achieve this; I can imagine what other categories of your staff have achieved. You have done noble.
