A Nigerian man identified as IfeanyiCy Njoku has shared his grass to grace story to inspire people never to give up.
He narrated how he left his village in Mbano, to hustle for better life in the city of Owerri, the Imo state capital
In a Facebook post on September 30, Ifeanyi said that he had nothing on him when he embarked on the journey in 2007.
On arriving Owerri, the biochemistry graduate from Abia State University found shelter in an abandoned building thanks to a friend.
After several years of hustling, determination and commitment, he has now been able to return to the village and build a beautiful edifice.
He shared photos of the house and wrote;
”True definition of Grace … Nothing Stops You to Achieve Your Dream
When I relocated to Owerri in 2007 from my village at Mbano, i had nowhere to lay my head and no money to rent a house.
I had no option than to beckon on a friend to allow me to be sleeping in the floor without foam at a small kitchen within an abandoned building whose owners deserted due to flood. He graciously permitted. I had remained grateful.
Fast forward, though it has not being all rosy, I thank God for his amazing grace. Where many see disability, i see determination. In all you do, try as much as possible to add value and be impactful!
My Castle of Grace! My village residence !!! Working not only hard but smart to replicate this in my city of Owerri. I have a dream!
Be inspired, that’s the goal !!! My name is IfeanyiCy Njoku (One Leg General),lol.”
