Nigerian man pranks random lady who asked for birthday gifts by sending her ‘fake’ N1m alert

A Nigerian lady, Debby Ifeayemi who is set to celebrate her birthday, has blocked a stranger for deceiving her into believing he would send her money.

She revealed that her birthday comes up in six days and listed some item she wanted social media users to buy for her.

Some of the items Debby wrote on her Twitter page include brand new phone, powerbank, airpods, prayers and money.

@Debby_cocoxx captioned; “Birthday in 6 days here is my wish list 🥹🙄🙄😂❤️”

A guy known as Hozed, came across he tweet and asked how much the powerbank costs, to which she shared a snapshot from an online marketplace showing it at N33,500.

He asked for the lady’s account number and she posted it on the microblogging platform without delay. Moments later, the guy shared a screenshot of a fake debit alert and urged her to enjoy it.

Debby did not find what Hozed did funny, so she blocked his Twitter account and when he realised what happened, he took to his page to feign regret.

“My Good no go kee me 😭 money wen I for gv mama or charity home

I don’t deserve this blocking. Since yesterday I never fit chop,” he wrote.
