Naira Marley to bet N40m that Tinubu will win presidential election

Nigerian rapper, Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley has said he is ready to stake a bet of 40 million naira on the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.

He made this known on his social media page while sharing receipt of his friend Tunde Jago’s N20m bank transaction where the money was transferred to a third party still on the same bet.

Naira Marley further challenged interested persons to make more bets with him on the outcome of the presidential election.

He said anybody who is ready can drop N250,000 and he will drop N1m or the person can bet with N1m while he would use N4million.

The Marlian Music president went a step further to say that if they can raise up the stakes, he would be willing to bet N40million should he find someone that is ready to bet with N10million.

He wrote; “If u find person wey want bet. Dem fit bet 250k I go bet 1m.. or dem fit bet 1m I go bet 4m…or 10m I go bet 40m”

In related news, a Nigerian lady identified as Maryam Lasisi has revealed that she lost interest in a man he was interested in dating due to his reaction to losing out in sports betting.

She recounted when she called him on phone and he was crying uncontrollably because his ticket cut and she felt irritated.

According to Maryam, though she does not see anything wrong with a man showing emotions, she felt the way he cried was too much for a man.

She explained that her impression of him changed because of that incident, so she dumped the idea of going into a relationship with him.

Maryam wrote; ”I called him and he was crying because his bet cut. I’m all for men showing emotions but hearing “Omo I f**k up” while someone was crying his eyes out was very cringe. Omo, I couldn’t look at him the same way again abeg.”
