Popular Nigerian cleric, Enoch Adejare Adeboye has said he would like to be called to heaven the same day with his wife, Folu Adeboye.
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, made this known in a Twitter post while celebrating his wife, who turned 75 on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
Adeboye said the greatest blessing God bestowed upon him is his wife, and warned that anyone who dares to harm her will face divine retribution.
He wrote: “Besides the salvation of my soul and the baptism in the Holy Spirit, the greatest blessing bestowed upon me by the Lord is my wife, @pastorfoluadeboye. It is well-known that anyone who dares to harm her will face divine retribution. Many are unaware of the incredible extent of her compassion, generosity, and care for others.
“From the moment she chose to spend her life with me, she has stood by my side through thick and thin. One of my fervent prayers is for both of us to be taken home together when the time comes.
“We have special, endearing names for each other. I invite everyone to join me in celebrating this remarkable woman by joyfully shouting “Hallelujah” wherever you may be. Happy birthday, my beloved @pastorfoluadeboye.”
Meanwhile, Prophet Amos of Jesus Christ Temple Ministry, Warri, Delta state, has stated that clergymen who own private jets or universities will not make heaven.
The man of God made the assertion during sermon in church on Sunday, adding that pastors that have between N500 million to N1 billion in their bank accounts will also be left behind when rapture occurs.
Amos further said that clergymen who own universities and estates or ordain their wives would not see paradise.
He said; Any pastor wey buy jet, if he see heaven, I pull my shoes. Any pastor wey get estate and university, if he see heaven, if the door of heaven open [for him], that means it will also open for Sodom and Gomorrah.

Months ago, a Nigerian man identified as Maazi Chukwudiaso Onyema, has appealed to Dunamis International Gospel Center to refund all his tithes as the hardship in Nigeria is biting him hard.
He made the appeal in a video as he said he is no longer interested in the Kingdom of God. The young man showed his tithe card in the clip and gave a lengthy speech about how he had allegedly been brainwashed and he was in the proper frame of mind when he paid the tithes to the church.
Onyema said he is currently suffering and has calculated all the money in his tithe card and wants it back. He said he does not need the offering or gifts he has given to the church. He said that he joined the Dunamis church in 2008 and he was told to store up treasures for himself in heaven through tithes.
The man who also showed two certificates he got after attending training in the church, added that he was hungry and there was a lot of suffering. Onyema further explained how his bank failed him due to the current situation in Nigeria.
