British born Nigerian broadcaster, Julie Adenuga has recalled being dumped by her boyfriend because she tested positive for COVID-19.
Julie said she initially thought the relationship would be the best she would have but later realised it was not the right one.
The sister to Grime star, Skepta, said she informed her boyfriend that she contracted coronavirus and he called her that same evening to break up with her.
According to Julie, who shared her relationship woes on an episode of the Madame Joyce podcast, she was lying sick when she got the breakup call.
The radio host said; “I was in a relationship for a long time where I knew it wasn’t the right one but I thought it might be the best I am going to get. So, I decided to keep it going for as long as possible.
“I got COVID-19 and the day that I found out I had COVID-19, my boyfriend broke up with me. I was mad that day. I sent him a picture of my test result. And that evening, he called me that he was breaking up with me.”

Nigerian movie star, Lolade Okusanya, has revealed that she is the one who took the decision to end all her past relationships.
According to her, the three men she dated at different times were planning to marry her, but she dumped them because she was scared of marriage.
Lolade who talked about her love life during an interview with media personality Debbie Shokoya, noted that none of her partners have ever broken up with her.
The Nollywood diva, however, said she wasn’t proud of her actions, but fear influenced her decisions at the time
Okusanya said; “Nobody has ever broken up with me, I broke up with all my exes. I’m not proud of it. The three relationships were all close to marriage when I broke up with all of them. I was scared of marriage at that time. I have never dated a guy that didn’t want to marry me.”
