‘My kids came miraculously’ – Illbliss recalls battling childlessness years after marriage

Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Tobechukwu Ejiofor, better known by his stage name, Illbliss, has recounted how he and his wife, battled childlessness for eight years.

Illbliss and his wife, Munachiso, struggled to have a child for eight years before welcoming their first child, Sochikaima in 2017. She gave birth to another daughter named Kachimsideh in 2020.

The self-styld Oga Boss, who recently had an interview on Arise TV said his children were born “miraculously”. According to the rapper, his first daughter was born after eight years of waiting while his second daughter was born prematurely during the COVID-19 lockdown.

He said his children inspired his latest album, ‘SideKai.’ The rapper said the title was coined from the combination of their names, Kachimsideh and Sochikaima.

Illbliss said; “I am a girl-dad. I have two beautiful daughters. Sochikaima is 6, and Kachimsideh is 3. So, my album title ‘SideKai’ was coined from their names.

“My kids came miraculously. Kaima came in after eight years of marriage. It took my wife and me a long time before we started having kids. Side also came during COVID-19, 2020. She came as a premature baby. So, they all came in miraculously.”

Popular Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola professionally known as DJ Cuppy says it is a ‘terrible’ experience to be a single woman in her 30s.

She stated this via Twitter (X) in January 2024, adding that as a woman who is childless at that age, she does whatever she wants.

DJ Cuppy’s post got fans worried as they believed her single status was starting to take a heavy toll on her especially as her engagement to Ryan Taylor ended last year.

She wrote; “Being a single, childless woman in her 30’s is terrible… All I ever do is exactly what I want, all the time.”
