Seasoned Nigerian entertainer, Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’Banj has honoured his longtime friend, colleague and former business partner, Don Jazzy for his contribution to his music career.
The self-styled Koko master acknowledged that without Don Jazzy his musical journey, which started in 2024 in Nigeria would not be complete.
D’Banj shared a heartwarming video of him presenting memorabilia to the music executive whom he invited to celebrate his 20th anniversary in the industry.
He asked the Mavin Records boss with whom he founded the now defunct Mo Hits, to join him at his 20 years in music industry anniversary dinner and recognised that he would not have been where he is today if Don Jazzy did not support him.
The ‘Why Me’ hit-maker said that the moment, which was filled with nostalgia, reminded him of the milestones they had achieved together.
D’Banj captioned the post; “My 20 year journey cannot be complete without It’s @DONJAZZY again! Giving him the invite to my anniversary dinner was a moment filled with nostalgia.
“As we both celebrate 20 years in the industry, I’m reminded of the countless memories and milestones we’ve shared together. Here’s to two decades of brotherhood, entertainment, and unwavering support. Love you always, Brother! OooSHeeeee.”
