My dating platform is for matchmaking not ‘hookup’ – Lege Miami clarifies

Nigerian content creator and actor, Kehinde Adams, also known as Lege Miami, has dispelled speculations that his online dating platform promotes ‘hookup’.

Lege Miami said he launched the matchmaking programme to bring people together for serious relationships that could lead to marriage and that is what he’s been doing.

He made the clarification in an interview with Saturday Beats, adding that he’s gotten testimonials from people he matchmade and ended up getting married.

He said; “If you check my YouTube channel, you will see that it is not meant for hook-up, but matchmaking for people who actually want to get married.

I have never done ‘hook-up’. My platform is for people who are serious about getting married. I also have testimonials from people who got married through the platform, and are living happily.”

Lege Miami recently called out a man named Ogechukwu for allegedly impregnating one Ogechukwu he met on through his matchmaking and absconded. He asked the guy to go take responsibility for the pregnancy.

The Influencer recounted how he connected the man and Opeyemi at a party they all attended in December 2022, and the two of them got down, which resulted in her bearing a child for him.

Lege Miami gave Ogechuwu 12 hours ultimatum to come out of hiding and take up the bills for the lady’s Antenatal.

He also insisted that the man must take his family to visit the lady’s parents for proper introduction, pay her bride price.

He warned that if the runaway man should not do as instructed, he will post his photograph and phone number on social media for people to disturb him.

Lege said; “Ogechukwu the girl Opeyemi whom I h**ked you up with at a party is now pregnant after you slept with her. I give you 12 hours ultimatum to accept the pregnancy and go and pay for her Antenatal, Ogechukwu I give you 12 hours to accept this pregnancy or else I will post your photo”.
