My album will silence a lot of people – Ruger

Nigerian musician, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, known by his stage name, Ruger has declared that his debut album will be a statement.

The ‘Dior’ hit maker said when he releases the forthcoming project, it will silence a lot of critics and naysayers.

Ruger made the declaration while previewing a new song off the yet to be released album on his Instagram story with D’Prince.

Though he did not mention any names, fans took it to be a subtle shade directed at BNXN, whom he is known for always clashing with on social media.

“This album will shut a lot of mouths I promise” he said.

Meanwhile, afrobeats sensation, Daniel Benson, professionally known as BNXN, in a post on social media said he is an underrated artiste.

He stated this via Twitter while sampling his newly released song, ‘Wo Wo’ adding that he is underrated because he was not made by any prominent or influencer person.

BNXN further said that fans should blame whatever is happening on features, and his still relevant even though there were attempts to tame him.

He wrote; “Blame it on features , some underrate us… but it’s only cause there’s NOBODY that made us. I was wilding out and they thought they could tame us.”
