Mr Ibu: Drag Nollywood actresses, not actors – Comedian Akpororo tells VeryDarkman (Video)

Famous stand-up comedian, Akpororo has weighed on the back and forth between online activist, VeryDarkman and key players in the Nigerian movie industry over Mr Ibu’s health issue.

VeryDarkman had dragged Nollywood after Mr Ibu cried out for assistance online. He said it was a shame that the could not rally support for their colleague, that he had to seek help from the public.

In response to his viral video, Akpororo told the online influencer to blame actresses and not actors as there’s no money in the movie industry.

He said his female colleagues make it look as if it is a lucrative industry, because once they act in just one film, they are somehow able to buy cars and build a house.

Akpororo reiterated VeryDarkman’s assertion that there is a structure problem in the movie industry as well.

He also called on the Enugu state governor, Peter Obi to offer some intervention as the ailing Mr Ibu hails from the state.

In reaction, Actress peggyovire said; Bro. Mr Ibu might not be a billionaire but trust me, he was very comfortable that he had properties. We all know that some sickness can be financially draining & can make you sell all your investment.

There’s no structure in nollywood in-terms of healthcare so more legends while aging will definitely encounter this problems.
