Moment man stopped Peter Obi to thank him for giving his wife N1m scholarship 12 years ago (Video)
A Nigerian man, Mr Ezeuno approached the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi to show appreciation for what he did for his wife more than a decade ago.
He revealed that his wife, Obianuju was one of those who benefitted from the N1million scholarship programme launched by Obi when he was the governor of Anambra state.
According to the man, his wife was among the lucky first class graduates of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, who were awarded the scholaship around 2011.
Obi was shopping for fruits in Enugu state when the married man rushed to his side to remind him of his good deed towards his partner which he never forgot.
He expressed gratitude to the Labour Party flagbearer and encouraged him to keep up the good work he’s been doing.
“His excellency, my wife Obianuju Ezeuno was one of the beneficiaries of the one million naira scholarship for first class graduates in UNIZIK that was sometime in 2011.
We are grateful to his excellency, and he should keep up the good work,” the man said.
In response, Peter Obi thanked the man deeply and hopped into his car.
