Popular rapper, Ilerioluwa ‘Mohbad’ Aloba’s wife, Omowunmi, has addressed reports that she attempted to end her life.
The online entrepreneur denied ever trying to end it all although she admitted that persistent harassment and threats to she and her child drove her to sadness and depression.
It was reported earlier that Wunmi was frustrated and tired of the endless cyberbullying directed at she and her son, Liam, so she resolved to leave the world by her hands.
But in a chat shared online by a popular blogger, the widow of the late rapper said she fell sick for some days and there was no time she tried to take her own life.
Wunmi said; “No, I never attempted to commit svicide. What actually happened was that because of the cyberbullying from all over social media and the constant calls I received from those who have continued to vow that they must kill me or my son, I became depressed and fell sick for some days.
“They are all over everywhere, and they always call me and guess my location right, and it is really getting to me, so I became depressed, but I never attempted to commit svicide.”
Meanwhile, CorrectNG recalls that Wunmi stated during her testimony before the Coroner’s Inquest that she’s been receiving death threats.
According to her, the threats forced her to resort to wearing face mask whenever she is going out. The mother-of-one also testified that Mohbad died in his room on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in the afternoon, long before he was declared dead.
