Meek Mill announces plans to visit Nigeria

American rapper, Meek Mill has revealed that he intends to make Nigeria the second African country he will visit after Ghana.

Recall that the award-winning Hip Hop star spent last week in Ghana having fun and performing at the 2022 Afrochella.

In a post via his Twitter account on 3rd of January 2023, he announced that he intends to visit Nigeria next.

He did not reveal a specific date or reason for wanting to be in the most populous black nation but he got fans excited about his decision.

Mill tweeted; “I’m coming to Nigeria next✨”

Though fans were anxious about his visit, they still took out time to inform him of certain issues of concerns.

A Twitter user warned him that unlike what happened in Ghana where his phone was stolen and recovered would not be so lucky in Nigeria.

@kusssman said; They won’t return your phone here o.

@mutohd; Even Nigerians think you shouldn’t consider going there. They’re all leaving for Ghana. Where will you find the keys?

@_AsiwajuLerry; Hold your phone well o. For here if you lose am nothing like them go return am, Sope Otilo. 😂

CorrectNG reported earlier that the rapper encountered a hostile crowd filled with overzealous fans that were very excited to see him in Ghana.

Meek Mill landed in Accra, Ghana on Wednesday, 28th of December ahead of the 2022 Afrochella festival, where he was billed to perform.

He got into a bit of exchange just outside the venue for Afrochella on Thursday night as a crowd of teaming fans mobbed him.

The Hip Hop star had to fight off the multitude of people before his show because they were struggling to either touch, hug him or pilfer his personal effects.

Meek could be seen fighting for his life before security personnel intervened and guarded him as he was walking into the concert venue.
