Mayorkun announces collaboration with artiste fans think he’s beefing

Nigerian singer, Mayorkun has issued warning to his fans ahead of the release of a new song which features an artiste people expect him not to work with.

He revealed via Twitter that he made new music with an artiste that people think he will never collaborate with due to a perceived beef.

Mayorkun warned fans against making unsavoury comments or giving negative reviews when their song is eventually released.

He wrote; “Made music with someone y’all thought I would never make music with, make I no hear any negative pim o, ok.”

This comes months after Wizkid made similar revelation that his next album features an artiste that will shock many fans when released.

Meanwhile, Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, also known as Wizkid, earlier announced that he will embark on a tour with his colleague, Davido.

The Grammy winner took to his social media page to make the announcement as he promised to make it happen after More Love, Less Ego album tour.

Wizkid asked fans to save some money to buy the tickets because he does not want to hear stories about why they could not show up.

He shared a photo of himself and wrote; “After MLLE tour! Davido and I going on tour! Save your coins!! I no wan hear pim!!”

Though he did not disclose a date, the news made fans very excited, and they could not contain their eagerness to see the heavyweights perform together after years.

However, it may not happen until the end of the year or in 2024 because Davido had postoned his A.W.A.Y Festival and announced in November 2022 that he will not have any show until November 2023.

The announcement from his management came after the untimely death of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke Jnr and he postponed.

The statement read; “We have made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone A.W.A.Y Festival until Saturday, November 18, 2023.

To all ticket buyers, your tickets will be honored for the 2023 date. We understand that you must be disappointed but we promise to come back with a bigger and better show. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing you all in the near future.”
