Marriage is not an achievement, it’s easy to get married – Actor Emeka Nwagbaraocha

Popular Nigerian actor, Emeka Nwagbaraocha, has said that getting married is not an achievement, but staying married is.

The Far From Home star made this assertion while responding to a Twitter user who asked people if they think that marriage is an achievement.

Emeka said it is easy for one to get married, but the major challenge is for the person to stay in the union and build a family.

He wrote; “NO but Staying married is an achievement. It’s actually easy to get married, the work is staying in a marriage an building a family.”

Popular actor and musician, Idowu Adeyemi, professionally known as Yhemolee, has said that his parents’ seperation almost ruined him and his sister’s lives.

He said their parents separated when they were still young, so he had to take up the responsibility of sponsoring himself and his sister through school. Yhemo Lee, who often brags about his nightlife expenses, made the revelation about his family in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo.

He said; “I saw myself and my sister through school. They [our parents] separated at a point when they could have damaged our lives. My parents were well-to-do. I mean, I went to one of the best schools at that time. But they left us all of a sudden.”

The singer added that he reunited his parents during his mum’s birthday last year and even took them clubbing. He said they are on good terms now.

Big Brother Titans winner, Khosi has revealed that she broke up with her boyfriend because he isn’t planning to settle down. She disclosed this during an episode of Doyin’s Corner podcast hosted by ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Doyinsola David.

CorrectNG recalls that Khosi often talked about a mystery boyfriend during her stay in the house, even as she and co-housemate, Yemi Cregx were in a romantic relationship.

According to the journalist, she isn’t desperate for marriage, but she also doesn’t want the option to be taken off the table.

“Well, I don’t want the option [of marriage] to be taken off the table. It’s my priority,” she said.

The reality star said her ex-boyfriend told her after she came out of the BBTitans house that he was heartbroken seeing her flirting with other men. Khosi noted that the guy was still supportive of her despite his disappointment with her actions on the reality show.

The 25-year-old South African added that though she is not with him anymore, they are still cool, and he is a good-natured man.

She, however, said she wouldn’t want to make their relationship work again because “as much as I loved him and he loves me, he still doesn’t want to like get married and settle down which has always been the major issue between us.”
