Author and socio-politial commentator, Reno Omokri has opined that many Nigerians do not want justice for late music star, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba also known as Mohbad.
He made the assertion through his official Twitter page, and noted that most people just want to use it as an avenue to go after people they do not like.
Omokri said that some people see the calls for justice to be served in Mohbad’s death as a way for them to target a particular person or group.
The former presidential aide went on to say that if the police concluded its investigation and the prime suspects are cleared of any wrongdoing, the people will accuse them of accepting bribe.
He wrote; ‘’Many Nigerians actually do not want #JusticeForMohBad. What they want is mob Justice against identified people they don’t like. To them, Justice For MohBad means that it just must be a certain person or persons.
“I am really feeling sorry for the @PoliceNG. If their report clears certain persons, some people will insist they have been bribed or otherwise compromised. They don’t want an investigation. They want an inquisition. She mo pa ro?“
