Man urges Davido to reward him after he found his oga’s N500 and ‘returned it’

A Nigerian man has called on music superstar, David Adeleke aka Davido, to accord him the same courtesy he extended to Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, a staff of Eko hotels who returned a missing $70,000.

The guy who gave the impression that he’s a laundryman, said that he found 500 naira in his employer’s clothes while washing it and returned it.

According to the man known on Twitter as @alhajinuell, he believed that he deserves a reward, so he asked Davido to consider giving him $500k.

His appeal came after Omo Baba Olowo gave $10,000 to Ngozi Mary for returning $70,000 which was misplaced by a customer.

Mary was said to have discovered a misplaced bag containing the huge sum of money in one of the hotel’s suites. She promptly reported the discovery to the hotel management.

The hotel’s General Manager, in line with the establishment’s policy of integrity and transparency, promptly initiated the process of returning the money to its rightful owner.

Taking to Twitter account on Sunday to react to the incident, Davido revealed he is ready to give the hotel worker and asked that she be located.

“Find her for me … I donate $10k,” he wrote.

@alhajinuell shared a photo of the N500 he found while washing and captioned; “Hello @Davido I saw this 500 naira when washing for my oga and I returned it, $500k no go bad Shaa…001 baddest tule joor!!!!”

A woman identified as Denise Rossi has been ordered by a court to give her ex-husband all the lottery money she won. The wife who lives in the United States divorced her husband, Thomas Rossi after winning N1.5 billion, but he found out by accident.

A Los Angeles family court ruled that the entire lottery winning should go to her estranged hubby for trying to conceal it during their divorce.

Denise won the jackpot 11 days before she filed for divorce after 25 years of marriage, and kept her earnings to herself during the divorce proceedings by not disclosing them to Thomas or the judge.

However, a letter from a firm that compensated lottery winners was accidentally delivered to Thomas’s apartment two years after their divorce, and he called for a review of the prior agreement.

When he learned that his ex-wife had won N1,500,000,000 in the California State Lottery and was earning N25 million a year, he was astounded.

He filed a lawsuit against her for failing to disclose her assets to the state as well as for acting dishonestly and maliciously. The entire lottery winnings from Denise were given to Thomas per the court judgement.

According to the judge, if Denise had been honest from the beginning, she would have been able to keep half of the money, but by hiding it, she forfeited her claim to it.
