Man pulls out of financing stepdaughter’s wedding because she insisted on being walked by biological dad

An African American man has decided to discontinue funding his stepdaughter’s upcoming wedding due to a request she made.

He said the girl asked to be walked down the aisle by her biological dad because she wants him to be involved in such a transitionary moment in her life.

The bride’s stepdad felt offended by her choice, so he said he was no longer going to bring any money for the wedding holding August 8.

He said that she just graduated from college and he paid for everything and he bought her a car.

The stepdad claimed that her real dd is known for making promises which he never fulfils, so he felt insulted that the girl would want to bestow him that honour.

He said since she did not feel honoured enough by him being the one to walk her in church, then there is no need for him to contribute to the wedding plans.

The man shared this story in a viral video on TikTok and revealed how it affected the wedding.

In addition to her request, the 20 people that he wanted her to invite did not get a wedding invitation, an act which worsened the situation.
