Man in pains as his dad weds side chic months after his mother’s death

A white man has narrated how his father swiftly moved on and married his longtime side chic less than a year after his mum passed away.

The guy known as Scott Millen revealed that his mother died in October 2022 after battling pancreatic cancer.

However, when she was still at the hospital fighting for her life, his dad eloped with the girlfriend he had been dating in secret.

Scott took to his Twitter account on July 2nd and revealed that his father and the same girlfriend got married on that day.

He made a toast to his late mother, Marcia Hanson for being a strong woman who ‘existed’ despite her husband’s irresponsble ways.

“Mom died in Oct. last year, Dad married today his long time girlfriend, the woman he ran with while my mom pined for him as pancreatic cancer killed her.

They were married until the day she died, now he is married again. Tonight, a toast to Mom, Marcia Hanson, she existed,” Scott wrote.

Social media users with similar experiences shared their own stories.

@CarrieWatts246; Why do so many men do this? My parents were married 44yrs when my mom died after a short illness; my dad was in a serious relationship w/in 6 mths. He threw away their wedding album, pics of us as babies, anything important to my mom, sold the house, moved to a new state. Erased.

@1par8head; Sounds like my Mom’s story…she had bone cancer…my Dad married not long after her passing with his Bimbo, which btw, instead of passing my Mom’s ring on to me, he gave it to his Bimbo….I will toast your Mom tonight as well

@cygnusfive; I will be thinking of Marcia. She deserved better from him, but it sounds like she has a son who loved her.

@DestryBrod; I’ll say a toast to Marcia tonight. Hopefully she’s hanging out with my mom now.

@just2draw; My elderly neighbour lost his wife of 50+ years. Every day from the funeral he seemed to grow weaker. It was like a light had gone out in him.

I would come around and borrow his workshop for trivial jobs, mainly to say hello and remind him he still was useful and valued. But… Show more

@supertanskiii; I’ve seen and read about many men leaving the women that birthed their kids and were loving companions, when they got sick, or moving on immediately because they “deserve to be happy”. A horrifying betrayal. Fuck him. Here’s to Marcia Hanson, who evidently raised a great son.
