Man finally pays off 80,000 loan he obtained for his wedding in 2013

A Twitter user identified as @Antss1j has revealed that his uncle just settled the sizable loan he took to fund his wedding in 2013.

He said the man borrowed £80,000 (approximately N163 million) and he paid it off in installments over the space of a decade since he first got married.

The tweep shared; “My uncle told me he just paid off his 80k wedding from 2013. A decade of instalments for one day lol. Yes GBP”

Reacting, @arrtnem said; Wedding costs are the ultimate test of love, or maybe just financial tolerance. Wonder if the marriage or the debt gets more attention over those years.

@MotivateYouTube; That is madness! If he invested that money in something decent he probably could have doubled that 🤦🏽‍♂️

@theamoreagncy; You all should know that whether it’s an expensive or inexpensive wedding, it’s still the same. You should think about your future, not just one day’s worth of celebration, because there are still bills to pay coming up after that day

Request for Marriage Funding Assistance

I, Hassan, am writing to beg financial support for my upcoming marriage. My parents died when I was in Senior Secondary two, and I am a native of Katsina State, Nigeria, where I had my elementary and secondary education (2). Later, I went to Polytechnic and earned a diploma in Computer Science.

I put my complete mind and confidence on your side, knowing that by God’s grace, you will help me opt out of the crucial circumstance I find myself in with whatever you intend to provide me as my marriage will be done on March 3rd, 2023 by next year by God’s grace. I would be quite grateful if you could support and assist me in carrying out my marriage without the need for a loan from a bank or making me feel concerned.
