Arsenal Football Club have sent a message of sympathy to Nigerians who lost their lives during the #EndSARS protests in Lekki, Lagos state, and others who are living in these trying times.
The English Premier League club said that they have seen footage of the happenings in the country, and stated that although they cannot imagine the pain, the club wishes well for citizens of Nigeria.
Sharing the message via Twitter, the Gunners wrote;
“TO OUR NIGERIAN FANS, WE SEE YOU, WE HEAR YOU, WE FEEL YOU.
‘WE HAVE READ OUR REPLIES, WE HAVE SEEN THE FOOTAGE.
“WE CANNOT IMAGINE THE PAIN.
“OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH EVERYONE IN NIGERIA.
“STAY STRONG, STAY SAFE.”
