Landlady evicts tenant after he saved her from her abusive lover

A Ugandan man has recounted the shocking manner his landlady showed appreciation for rescuing her from a domestic violence situation.

The guy known as Maps said he noticed she was being abused by her man, so he intervened and took her to her mother’s place for her safety.

However, during the weekend, the landlady returned with her lover and evicted him with immediate effect while giving him the money he dropped as down payment for rent.

He also revealed that she reinbursed him for the petrol in the car that got exhausted when he drove her to her mum’s place.

Maps wrote; “I was renting, Land lady was being physically abused and I went to intervene and saved her. I further drove her to her Mom’s so she could be safe… That weekend they both came to evict me and she gave me my Deposit and petrol money.

No good deeds goes unpunished, I kept asking myself what was i doing, i laugh now but it was sad then to be evicted. i even at some point thought of driving to her Mom to tell her. I was so confused.

She looked at me like i was the one who physically abused her, the guy just stood there and said absolutely nothing…I was so shocked and confused, that time when she knocked I thought she came to thank me for the other day. She even had my Deposit in Cash, plus reimbursement of driving her to her Mom.”

In entertainment news, Controversial Nigerian singer, Olawale Ashimi, known professionally as Brymo has denied being financially induced to endorse the Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He dismissed the speculations in an interview with The Punch, adding that he supports Tinubu of his own accord and believes he is the incoming president.

The ‘Oleku’ hit maker said that people have always accused him of something whenever he speaks out against the generally accepted opinion or norm.

Brymo noted how contradictory it is for people to have called him broke when he was vocal about core issues in the past, only for them to now suspect him of being paid because he’s vocal about a presidential candidate.

He said; “They used to say I was broke when I spoke up like this before. Now, they are saying I have been ‘activated’? This is crazy! Well, no. I have not been financially persuaded. I support one of my own choosing!”

On the issue of being attacked for supporting the APC candidate, Brymo said; “My response to them is to wait and let time bring to pass what tomorrow has in store for us all. I believe BAT (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) is the incoming president, and that the polity will be better if he is there. That is it.”

He also spoke about starting his musical career early and whether he knew he would be a musician.

”I wouldn’t say I knew. Let’s just say I was looking at sports and stumbled upon music. Or, maybe, my need for order led me to a profession that lets me contribute to every of its departments. That is the sweetest perk for me working in music. Also, I am doing the same job that consists of many other jobs.

Your brand of music is one that many have described as ‘highly intellectual and spiritual’. What inspires you?” Brymo said.
