US-based Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has threatened to end her life following her inaccurate prediction about Super Eagles semi-final match against South Africa.
She prophecied days ago that Bafana Bafana will defeat Nigeria and she claimed to have gotten the vision because she is a spiritual evangelist.
She had said; “No need to abuse/disrespect me cos I said Super Eagles will lose to South Africa. I’m a SPIRITUAL EVANGELIST. I spread the word of God thru spirituality. I am a CHOSEN ONE. Nothing changes that.”
However, after Nigeria beat South Africa on Wednesday, February 6 2023, Nigerians trooped to her comment section to mock and lambast the journalist.
Taking to her verified Facebook page, the 59-year-old social commentator said she was being bullied and in light of that she was contemplating drinking a hazardous liquid known as sniper.
Olunloyo claimed to be quite depressed over the harsh criticism she had received following her incorrect forecast about the AFCON semifinals.
She also clarified that her prediction was only an observation and not a prophecy, and she made a connection between her decision and the football match prediction.
Kemi wrote; “I’m about to drink that Sniper now. Continue bullying me. I’ve done my 30 yrs February 9th 1994-2024. I left the country for you. I didn’t give anyone a prophecy about a game I know nothing about.
“I simply said Tyla has a strong spiritual energy that will make Nigeria lose and I dreamt 3 of our players were ill. Once I’m dead you will be happy. You ruined my career the last decade of it.
“Today marks my 30th year in a profession my own people forced me out of. Goodbye. Dr Kemi Olunloyo. February 9th 2024.”
