Jim Iyke in search of man who helped him survive under Oshodi bridge

Seasoned Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has revealed that he is searching for a good Samaritan who helped him when he found himself under a bridge in Oshodi, Lagos state.

The movie star said the kindhearted stranger is known as Lateef, and he provided a pillow and spot for him to sleep when he found himself stranded.

Jim Iyke revealed that his homelessness struggle started after he left home in Lagos to stay with a close friend who was often treated like family whenever he visited.

He shared his journey during an interview with Silicon Africa, and talked about how his frequent failures led to success eventually locating him.

The actor said within the said period he stayed in eight different houses and they all kicked him out, particularly in the night.

He said that when the last family kicked him out, he went to his cousin’s place but the person had gone clubbing o he had to go sleep under the bridge.

According to Jim, when Lateef found him crying, he asked him what happened and after explaining it, the man gave him a pillow to sleep.

The Nollywood star said the man woke him up the next morning and gave him N40 to support his movement.

Jim Iyke said because of Lateef’s kind act towards him, he vowed to change his life whenever he finds him. He earnestly implored anyone acquainted with the man, especially those frequenting Oshodi Bridge, to help facilitate their reunion.
