Longtime Nollywood rivals, Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin have left fans with mixed feelings following their recent agreement to finally settle their differences.
The two actresses have been at loggerheads on social media over a relationship issue which later escalated and extended to other parts of their lives.
The situation grew so intense that Iyabo Ojo had filed a defamatory lawsuit against Lizzy, and demanded N500 million in damages.
Despite the fact that Liz missed her first court hearing in February 2024, she showed up in court on Thursday and the judge presiding over the case took on the role of mediator and successfully reconciled the two actresses.
Confirming the reconciliation to journalists, Iyabo mentioned that the judge provided motherly advice, urging both of them to stop cursing each other online and embrace peace instead.
A trending video captured the moment Iyabo and Lizzy were smiling as they left the court together. Lizzy’s husband approached Iyabo and gave her a peaceful hug, to seal the reconciliation.
