Rising Nigerian singer, 1da Banton has said that he’s been trying to record a song with Omah Lay but it’s proving difficult.
He said that he contacted Omah Lay for their collaboration and the Soso crooner gave him an email to send his demo.
1da said he sent the audio file and expected a quick response but ever since then the Afropop singer has been ignoring him.
The artiste whose real name is Godson Ominibie Epelle made this known while being interviewed by On Air Personality, Dotun on Cool FM Lagos.
He said they go way back to their days in Port Harcourt, and even though they were not friends, they know each other from when they used to be based in Rivers state.
He said he followed up via text message on different occasions regarding the song collaboration but the ‘Understand’ crooner was not responding so he stopped trying.

In other news, a Nigerian lady known as Peace Ighodaro has found a secondary school mate she launched a search for recently after remembering how he had a crush on her.

She said the boy known as Funmilayo bought her sausage roll and carbonated soft drink when they were in Junior Secondary 2 (JSS2).
Peace said the boy was the son of a bricklayer who went out of his way to prove his feelings to her by buying gala and Mountain Dew.
However, he suddenly stopped coming to school when his father died as a result of a terrible work accident.
She shared the story while reacting to a post from a lady who said the last time she celebrated Valentine’s Day was in secondary school.
Peace sent an open call to Funmilayo and said that he should reach out if he ever sees her Twitter post.
She wrote; “Fumilayo bought me Gala and Mountain Dew in Jss 2, he probably had to save to get it 🥹. The boy had a huge crush on me. His father was a bricklayer and died when he fell from a building. Fumilayo never came back to school. Fumilayo please dm me whenever you see this.”
Days later, Peace gave an update that she found Funmilayo and he is now a software enginner.
She posted screenshots of her conversation with him on Instagram where he revealed details about their school to prove he is the one she was looking for.
The lady captioned; “I have found Funmilayo guyssss!!! 😩 He is a software engineer now and ok. Thanks for retweeting guys. 💛”
