Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Bloody Civilian has appreciated Afrobeats maestro, Ayodeji “Wizkid” Balogun for helping her music career.
She acknowledged that Wizkid is the reason artistes and non entertainers in the music industry as well as fans started taking her seriously.
Bloody Civilian stated this during a radio interview with Cool FM after one of the hosts brought up how Big Wiz had once given her a shout-out, and revealed that he liked her song.
The songstress said she needed such validation and that was a big career booster as it brought people’s attention to her.
“Shout out to Wizkid, people are now taking me seriously because of him. He gave me a cosign and a cosign goes a long way. I’m grateful,” Bloody Civilian said.
