It is an insult to say I am worth as small as $150 million — Bishop David Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, has said during a church service that he considers it an insult that people say he is worth as small as $150million.

In a video released by the Winners Chapel London where Bishop Oyedepo was teaching a sermon titled “The secrets of prosperity”, the man of God stated that he is worth much more than than just $150m. In fact $150million is just a small amount of money.

Bishop David Oyedepo, in his statement, while quoting the bible from the book of Philipians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” says it is a total insult for some people to have rated him so low.

Forbes named Bishop Oyedepo as the Richest pastor in the world with a net worth of $150 million.. According to Forbes :

Coming in as a supposed host of the Holy Ghost with the most, Bishop David Oyedepo heads the single largest church in the world, Winners’ Chapel, which seats 50,000. As one of the main founders of the Nigerian Christian Charismatic movement, he also exerts control over churches in 45 African nations, as well as several in Dubai, the United Kingdom and the United States.[AdSense-A]

Having been mentored by Adeboye, it is quite clear he took the formula of church expansion up a notch. Alongside churches, there has also been active outreach within his native continent where his ministry has aided in the development of hospitals, schools and maternity homes.

As to be expected with such successes, two of his sons are following in his footsteps by heading up both the London and South African Winners’ Chapel divisions.

Remember that the Bishop and some other religion leaders in the country are staunch enemies with the popular Free The Sheeple Movement leader, Daddy Freeze. The OAP is known to always criticizing the pastors for flaunting their wealth while million of their followers are languishing in poverty.
