IMSU students boo governor Uzodinma, chant ‘No Light’ during his campaign visit (Video)

Governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma was subjected to humiliation and embarrassment on Monday, Nov. 6 at the Imo State University (IMSU) auditorium.

Students booed Governor Hope Uzodinma when he visited the institution for his campaign, by chanting “no light, no light” when he mounted the rostrum.

A video making the rounds online captures the moment students refused to grant audience to Uzodinma after the electricity workers cut off the power supply to the institution for four days.

An eyewitness said; “Uzodinma went to the Imo State University to speak to the students and campaign. After mounting the rostrum, we started shouting ‘no light”, because we have not had light for the past 4 to 5 days”.

Another student explained; “This is because electricity workers went on strike over the assault on NLC president, Joe Ajaero”.
