I’m the richest Nigerian musician alive, Wizkid no reach me – Speed Darlington [Video]
US-based singer and internet sensation, Darlington Okoye known by his stage name, Speed Darlington has bragged about being “the richest Nigerian musician alive.”
He made the claim in a trending video while responding to critics who informed him that he cannot be compared to superstar singers, Davido and Wizkid.
Speaking during a live Instagram session, Speed Darlington declared that he is Nigeria’s richest artiste and no other entertainer alive comes closer.
However, some followers listed big names in the music industry who are definitely richer than him, including Wizkid, but he rained insults on them.

Big Brother Naija season ‘All Stars’ winner, Ilebaye Odiniya recently said her goal is to be the “youngest richest woman” in the world.
The self-styled “Gen Z Baddie” fondly called Baye emerged winner of the All Stars edition on Sunday, October 1, and she took home a whopping prize money of N120 million.
The 22-year-old reality TV star said she was saving money to start her business before going into the All-Stars House.
“I would say I wanted to become the biggest star everybody would recognise and also the youngest richest woman. So, that was my goal,” Ilebaye said.
The Kogi-born graduate also promised said she will make good use of the N120 million grand prize. She told her fans and colleagues that she would not waste the prize money as opined by critics.
She said; “Thank you guys so much, I am really happy to be your star. And to my housemates, thank you guys so much, I promise to make you guys proud, I promise not to disappoint you guys and I promise to make good use of the money. Thank you so much, I love you all”.
