I’m still heartbroken over Mohbad yet everyone has moved on – Omah Lay (Video)

Nigerian Afropop star, Stanley Omah Didia also known as Omah Lay has lamented over how quickly people have moved on following the death of rapper, Mohbad.

The ‘Understand’ crooner urged everybody to live their lives as much as they can because nobody really cares.

He stated this while being interviewed by British-Nigerian journalist, Adesope Olajide also known as Shopsydoo.

According to the singer, he is still very much broken as a result of losing the 27-year-old singer, whereas people on social media are already having fun.

Omah Lay said; “I must say this, you have to live your life. Mohbad just passed and it broke me down so badly but if you go on Instagram now, you will see everybody vibing. Everybody has moved one; you have to live your life. Don’t let anybody kill it for you. I’m so sad, he’s my boy; he’s like family”.

Nigerian singer, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, known professionally as Oxlade, has revealed that there are some songs by his colleagues that he wishes he sang.

The ‘Ku Lo Sa’ crooner while speaking in a recent interview with Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, said he wishes he sang ‘You’ by Omah Lay and ‘King’ by Fireboy DML.

Oxlade stated that Fireboy is his best friend but he really wanted to be the one who owns those songs, and believes that he would drop impressive vocals on Omah Lay’s You.

He said; “The song I wish I sang that I really wish I sang… They are two actually. There is ‘You’ by Omah Lay. I feel like I would murder that song with vocals.

“And then there is ‘King’ by Fireboy. That song… For the first time in my life, I really wanted to be the person that sang ‘King.’ Fireboy is my best friend. We are pretty close.”
