Nigerian actor, Alexx Ekubo’s estranged fiancée, Fancy Acholonu has set tongues wagging online with her recent cryptic post.
The entrepreneur declared that she has finally been set free and she’s no longer anybody’s control, and this left fans wondering if she was referring to the Nollywood star.
This comes just a day after news broke of a likely reconciliation between the fashion influencer her ex-lover, Alexx Ekubo.
In a new year’s message via her Instagram page on Monday, January 2nd, Fancy prayed for God to bless everyone and for 2023 to be her year.
She also said a chain has been broke and she will be able to spek for herself henceforth.
Fancy wrote; “Happy New Year everyone 2023 will be my year of strength, being fearless, speaking up for myself & FINALLY no longer under anyone’s control. I’m free, the chain is broken. May God bless us all 🙏🏽❤️ & 💡#SimplyFancy ✨”

The couple got engaged in May 2021, and were scheduled to tie the knot in November, but in August 2021 they went their separate ways after the model took to her instagram page to call off the engagement.
However, she made a U-turn and publicly apologized to him on two occasions, with the recent one being on Thursday, 29th December 2022.
Alexx acknowledged her apology saying; “I appreciate the apology. May God bless us all.”
However, a video which recently surfaced online showed that the couple seemed to have been back together even before she tendered the public apology.
Fancy reportedly arrived Nigeria from US, some days ago and moved into Alexx’s his mansion in Lagos state.
Sources say the “apology was just something Alexx demanded just to repair his image which her public breakup dented,” and it was vetted by him before being posted.
