Nigerian reality TV star cum actress, Venita Akpofure has responded to a man who condemned her for displaying nudity in a music video.
The Big Brother Naija alumni turned rapper, released her debut song on Tuesday and shared a video which showed her dressed in skimpy outfit.
Her appearance prompted a Twitter user to take to the comment section and condemned her open display of nudity, despite being a mother.
The tweep wrote; “Person wey get three pikin for house see wetin she wear her shame dey shame me.”
However, Venita told him that she was following the footsteps of her American idol, Beyoncé who is a mother of three that proudly rocks bodysuits to perform even as a billionaire.
The reality star wrote; “My dear I no Dey shame, keep your shame for yourself, I go Dey follow my Beyoncé jejely de go. Who also has 3 kids, wears bodysuits to perform and is billionaire household name. Go hard = Venita . Go home = you.”
Meanwhile, CorrectNG reported earlier that Venita boasted about already being a star before participating in Big Brother Naija.
Venita made her first appearance as a housemate in 2019 during the ‘Pepper Dem’ edition and again in 2023 as an All Star.
In a newly released music with rapper, Magnito, titled ‘Gen Z Cypher’, she claimed that the organisers of the reality show didn’t help her achieve stardom, stressing that they both helped each other.
Venita rapped; “I made it before Big Brother. No be Biggie help me, we dey help each other. Small girls babbling, I don’t even bother. Dem no get experience, they never cross border.”
