I’m classy – Asake tells critics

Budding Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Ahmed Ololade professionally known as Asake, has appraised his style, music and fashion sense.

The ‘Peace Be Unto You’ crooner took to his Twitter account on Monday to state that he is classy man contrary to what critics may think or say about him.

Asake made the declaration after trolls mocked him over a series of events, one of which was his Grammy loss. Another reason he was taunted is because a fan shared a dashing photo of him rocking a white long sleeve shirt tucked into a black trouser.

Asake classy

CorrectNG reports that South African singer, Tyla’s ‘Water’ defeated Davido’s ‘Unavailable,’ Asake’s ‘Amapiano,’ Burna Boy’s ‘City Boys,’ and Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’ to win the Best African Music Performance award at the Grammys.

Some described Asake as ‘razz’ and opined that it is because Asake sings mostly in Yoruba language that he did not win a Grammy.

But in an isolate post that seems to be in reaction to the comments, the YBNL artiste posted an image of himself at the red carpet of the 66th Grammys and stated that he is classy.

“I’m classy joor”, he wrote.
