I’m among the greatest musicians from Nigeria – Pheelz

Nigerian music producer and artiste, Pheelz, real name, Phillip Kayode Moses, has declared that he is one of the greatest musicians the country has ever produced.

He made the declaration when he appeared as a guest on an episode of the F&S Uncensored podcast hosted by Feyikemi Akin-Bankole and Simi Badiru.

The Finesse hitmaker argued that most people have selective amnesia that is why they fail to recognize that he is among the greatest musicians from and in Nigeria, the African continent as well as the whole world.

According to him, his bold claim can be backed up by the fact that he’s released numerous hit songs that can be termed classics.

The singer added that he is also one of greatest producers in the history of the genre known as Afrobeats.

Pheelz said; “Sometimes I feel like we have selective amnesia in the [music] industry. I’m not even proud, but it is fact; I’m one of the greatest musicians that Nigeria has ever seen, Africa has ever seen, and the world has ever seen. I have made so many classics. A lot!”.

Furthermore, he spoke on the smash single, Finesse which features BNXN, saying that Omah Lay was also supposed to be on the song, but he later removed his part because the release date clashed with the release of Omah Lay’s song ‘Attention’ with Justin Bieber.
