I’ll rather use the $50k to buy land in my hometown – Portable continues dragging TG Omori

Controversial street-hop singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has resumed his attack on video director, TG Omori over the amount he charges.

It was reported days ago that Portable lampooned him for charging $50,000 (N37 million) when he contacted Omori to shoot a video for one of his songs.

The Zazuu star took to his Instagram story to make noise about the fee and wondered why the director was charging that much.

Portable said the director has started to stress him and used one of his favourite lines and noted that someone who wishes to help another person would not stress them.

He shared screenshots of their chats in a video, where he also replied to Omori with voice notes lamenting about the money being too high.

In a fresh video with some friends, Portable said he will use the money to buy acres of land in his community than to pay TG.

The Zazuu Zeh hit maker reiterated that it is not possible for him to pay someone N37 million for a music video when members of his family are looking up to him for their daily feeding.

He declared that he knows the family he comes from, and he is not crazy to the extent of making such a heavy mistake.

He said the N3 million he made from Zazuu when it was a trending song is what he used to buy his his Toyota Camry.

According to him, the reason he could not make more than that amount is because he single handedly took care of everybody on the team which includes a manager, promoter and their own workers.
