I’ll prove my innocence – Fake lawyer who allegedly won 26 cases breaks silence (Video)

A Kenyan man, Brian Mwenda Njagi, alleged to be a fake lawyer, has broken his silence amid controversy surrounding his judicial cases.

He was said to have been practicing law without the necessary credentials and had won all 26 cases which he handled before Magistrate, High Court Judges, and Court of Appeal Judges .

Mwenda, who was recently exposed and apprehended has expressed his willingness to allow the courts to determine his fate, although he vowed to prove that he is innocent.

In a trending video, the young man explained that he cannot give details of his court case because investigations are ongoing and it would be “prejudicial” for him to speak to the media.

However, he conveyed his gratitude to supporters have rallied behind him since the news of his alleged legal impropriety broke and went viral.

“I will like to convey my gratitude to the people who are supporting me and those that are praying for me. In the fullness of time, I will be able to clear this misunderstanding.

“I will also be able to prove my innocence and to provide the actual context to what is really happening. It should be inconceivable for anyone to think that I have all of these prowess to hack into portals.”

When asked what his future plans are, the alleged fake lawyer talked about his desire to venture into politics.

He said: “It makes me feel privileged, lucky, and blessed and perhaps the next member of parliament for my constituency.”

Mwenda also dismissed reports which suggested that he had been arrested by the Kenyan police.
